Crisis Advocate

Embrace Services, Inc. has an opening for a part-time/sub Crisis Advocate in Rusk County. The Crisis Advocate is responsible for maintaining the shelter facility and related operations, providing non-judgmental, supportive assistance to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and their children. The position will also respond to crisis situations and support families in the shelter, on the telephone and in-person, manage security and operations of the shelter during established evening and weekend shifts, complete cleaning schedule, maintain shelter supplies, and monitor Crisis Advocate scheduling changes subbing when your schedule allows.

Embrace is a nonprofit domestic and sexual violence safe shelter located in Ladysmith, WI—45 minutes north of Chippewa Falls, WI and 40 minutes east of Rice Lake, WI. The starting pay rate for this position is $12.00/hour. Embrace offers a $10,000/year Flexible Benefit Account, excellent paid time off rates, and Health Insurance.
